She's a Marshmallow

In 1999 this singer had her breakthrough with the hit "Genie In A Bottle" and her self titled album. In 2003 she launched a new style with the album "Stripped", featurning the hits "Beautiful ", "Fighter" and "The Voice Within". Now Christina is back with "Back To Basics" with influences from the 30's.

Seriously. I just love this woman so much. She is one of my no.1 favourite singers. She has such a powerful and beautiful voice that fit all her awesome songs super well! :D I just love the new album so much. I can't pick a song because I think they all are great in their own special way. The record does not get boring, it has a great variation of ballads and pop songs! I am eagerly hoping that Christina will have a concert here in Sweden someday!

What do you think of this wonderful singer?

Christina is my all time favourite singer. She absolutely rocks and I adore her voice and her performances. :D I really like BTB, though I wish it had a little more of that Stripped vibe, but nevertheless I really love what she made of it. :D My two favourite songs are Candyman and Welcome. :D

I went to her BTB tour twice last year and I can only say, GO there if you have the chance, because it is the best show ever and you will not regret it!

And tomorrow I'll go out and buy the Candyman single. (A)

She's not one of my all time favorite singers for no real reason at all but sometimes I go though phases where I like her. Genie In A Bottle and Relfection are two of the songs I really like.

This new direction she been going in has been amazing. I love all the tracks off her Back To Basics LP, Candyman being the most played song on my CD player.

She's my idol and can you see, how much I adore her. *points to avy and banner* I loved since she first came out. But I think I fell in love with her Stripped album, her voice is amazing, and her lyrics, they hit your heart, because you can relate to her in someway. That CD, gave me hope and it saved my life.

And she's just a gorgeous woman, with a beautiful soul. Her BTB album, was amazing as well. I got the CD, like the first day it came out. Her music, it's just so deep, because she sings about her problems, and her life and the love for her husband. She's strong, beautiful and she deserves to be happy. And I just love her so much, I've been a faithful fan since Genie In A Bottle. :)

Christina Aguilera is so not my cup of tea. I don't care for her shows because I don't think that shows should be that showy, it's all about the music. What I can give her credit for, is that she has an amazing voice that no one else could have. I'm still amazed at how amazing her voice is but that's all I care for. I don't like her songs, he looks or her shows so yeah.

Why can't you make music into an experience? Why does it have to be just music or just visuals? Why not have both? Christina is so talented that we get that from her, something which we get from literally no other artist.

I don't like huge shows, it's just my thing. I think that all musicians have to show their talent through well, music. I know that she puts on amazing shows but I could do without people dancing around half-naked. That's how I feel, hence I like shows where it's just us and the band in a little venue. I don't need to be surrounded by loads of people to feel the music or have stuff blinding me with light shows.

But what I'm saying is that she does show her talent through music. Just because she gives you something to look at doesn't mean the music isn't there too. Music and dance are not mutually exclusive. I respect her very much for having a show that's all about the music while still putting on a visual spectacular like no other. The visuals just augment the music.

She's a pop singer, not a rock singer. Pop is a genre that has made it's money on visual effects. Even Avril Lavigne who was once a band/singer only venue has incorperated dancers into the mix. People respond to upbeat visuals and that's why Cirque de Soleil has done so well. (Granted that's not a pop act, but an example of an act that uses visual effect to draw a crowd and generate ticket sales) Madonna the mother of pop music was the first to do this with big arena shows with lights, dancers, and visuals.

Christina is such an amazing artist. She has grown into a very classy, young woman. (I really think Jordan had something to do with that) What's so great about Christina is that she has a little extra something that draws people in, her voice. No one not even Madonna has those pipes. She trashed Britney in record sales and in class, so I think she deserve every blessing she gets.

I have found myself really into her lately. I never denied she had an amazing voice, but for awhile I really preferred Britney over Christina, but since Britney is just being ridiculous right now I have opted to be Christina's fan. Plus since she has gotten married she's turn herself around so much, and has become more classy than trashy. I love her newer style so much! Pretty much I love her so much that I am using her in two rpgs, and I usually don't use the same AIs especially at the same time.

I like X-Tina. I loved her dirty thing but I also love the vintage glam thing she's gotten into. I especially like these songs: Dirrty, Fighter, Candyman, Still Dirrty.

Definitely my idol. She is soooooooo amazing! I was lucky enough to see her in concert earlier this year and all I can say is wow! What a voice! xD

I can't choose my favourite Christina song, as she has so many incredible ones to choose from! But I guess I can say a top 5 in no particular order:

Soar
I'm OK
Oh Mother
Understand
Thank You

Does anyone remember Christina doing "Lady Marmalade" With Pink,Mya and Lil Kim? I liked her in the video, and she sang beautifully with the other three women. I think she is one of the best singers out there today.
