I don't know if anyone else has heard about this, but it happened here in the UK. I think it's sick, I can't believe anyone could do that to children.

Four women who forced two toddlers to fight and filmed them punching each other have each been given 12-month suspended sentences.

Zara Care, 29, Carole Olver, 48, Serenza Olver, 29, and Danielle Olver, 19, all members of the same family from Plymouth, Devon, had pleaded guilty to child cruelty at an earlier hearing....

That's the article about it. I just can't believe anyone could do that.

:omfg: :eeeek: goodness... This is very cruel! Is it me or is the world going crazy? Women forcing children to fight in the UK,a guy killing many innocent people in the US, a guy killing 5 hunters for nothing in Greece. What's wrong?

People in general aren't very nice things. Granted, most of us don't go around shooting 30 odd people or forcing toddlers to fight - but there are the few that will. They are desperate, mean, attention seeking and probably at least a little crazy. Not that it should give them any excuses. People are far too capable of doing certain things, and some of them probably don't recieve the mental help they need. The world is a crazy place where insecurity and entertainment tends to rule over rational thought. At least it seems that way to me.

Anyway. I think this is disgusting, those women should be ashamed of themselves. They deserve all the crap they get as backlash from this. What they did was just wrong on so many levels. Using the excuse of 'toughening them up' makes it even worse. I just...God...these people frustrate me so bad.

I couldn't beleive it when I read it, and I can't beleive they only got light sentences, they should have been sentenced for longer. I feel so sorry for those two children.

Yes i was also surprised that their sentences were so light...I don't say they should rot in prison but a light sentence is the worst thing to do for them.

Holly the fact that people go around killing many other people and abusing babies has its roots to many things. The modern way of life, education that is not humanistic, mass media etc That guy who killed 32 people felt that someone had wronged him(As much as i heard from his pre-suicide video). I don't say that this proves them less quilty but governments should focus on eliminating these factors that turn people into criminals. I agree on the mental help with you!
