Didn't know it is a greek name.*tries to remember* What is the greek form of it?
I don't know what the Greek form of it is honestly. But in the baby name book, it says that Megan is a Greek name, or comes from a Greek name. The only thing that I can think of is Megera/Megara or whatever that was from the Disney version of Hercules. But that probably isn't right.
EDTI: The Greek form of Megan is Megara. I have recently been reading a lot of Greek mythology. So my guess was correct.

KATHRYN (Pure, Virginal) » Loooooooollllllerskaaaaaates, anybody who remotely knows me should be laughing hysterically right about...now.
Gender: Feminine
Usage: English
Pronounced: KATH-rin
Origin: Celtic/Gaelic
From the Greek name Αικατερινη (Aikaterine). The etymology is debated: it could derive from the earlier Greek name ‘Εκατερινη (Hekaterine), which came from ‘εκατερος (hekateros) "each of the two"; it could derive from the name of the goddess HECATE; it could be related to Greek αικια (aikia) "torture"; or it could be from a Coptic name meaning "my consecration of your name". In the early Christian era it became associated with Greek καθαρος (katharos) "pure", and the Latin spelling was changed from Katerina to Katharina to reflect this.
