After the death of Dr.Doom the Fantastic Four think life is back to normal. Reed Richards and Sue Storm make plans to get married, but are interrupted when the Silver Surfer and Galactus show up, trying to destroy the earth and it's up to the fantastic four to deal with them, as well as with the return of Dr. Doom.
With Von Doom back in his homeland of Latveria the fantastic four have new troubles when Galactus has decided that Earth is his next target. When his henchman, The Silver Surfer(Norrin Radd), is sent to Earth he discovers that he's getting more than he bargained for when he encounters the Fantastic Four. But that's not all when Dr. Doom decides that after two years in the homeland he is ready to return.
love love love this movie! second best comic book movie IMO after X2. The only problem I had with it was the PG rating, there were so many times you could tell they wanted to say "Hell" or "You son of a b!tch!". Not just the language that bothered me but also the scene were Sus gets stabbed I wanted to see blood or at lease the stick poking threw the back, but not. All we saw was her falling and the stick vanishing into thin air. The length also made the movie at times felt a little to rush, but all these didn't effect the overall plot. I just wanted more Fantast for at less 2hrs :( I waited 2years for this lol :p.
Everyone should defiantly go see it. You won't be disappointed.

Oh I absolutely loved it, it was awesome. I went to see it on my own and loved every minute of it, except the bit where Sue dies, but I sought of knew that the Silver Surfer would bring her back or she'd at least be brought back, well I thought that.

Didn't you just wish it was longer though? Spider 2& 3 were each like 2hrs and X-Men 2 was 2hrs, yea F4 didn't pull in as much money but still it stayed a Box Office hite for like 2 weeks.

Yeah, I do actually, I was wishing it was the same sort of length as Spidey 3, though I've not seen that. But anyway it was good, I might be going to see it again with my sister, so I've got to keep quiet that I've already seen it lol :), she doesn't know I have.

Gah the plot was far too rushed and the ending made me laugh, I have an odd sense of humour. Was it me or did the whole movie feel disjointed, it just didn't slot together and the female soldier, nothing became of that! They tried to fit too much into far too short a film.
I could write as whole page on why Jessica Alba should have had a better wig but I won't LOL.

Actually as I understand it she dyed it and got extensions jemmy-sweet.
Anyway I saw it tonight. I actually liked it, but i didn't go in expecting a lot from it, which may have helped. The female soldier was kind of a toss-away character i agree, but i see the value in using her. I think all said they needed a bit more time to accomplish all that they wanted to...but I liked how they left the opening for Silver Surfer to come back in the next film.
Anyone think there with be an F4-3? Any idea what it might be about?

Her hair still doesn't look right, it just looked wrong but I am extremely picky but even my friend who went with me asked what was with her hair. It looked miles better in the first film, whatever they did to it the second time it just looked weird.
They'll make another as long as they make money they will make them. I'd like to see a really good baddie, a clever one. It would be interesting if they brought the Silver Surfer back though.

They tried to make her more like Su Storm in the comics as in why her Eye's looked a bit different along with the bleach blonde hair.
I'd definantly go see a 3rd Movie imo this is the best Comic Bookto Movie since the X-Men finished. Spider Man all 3 imo sucked.

I would probably go and see a third if they ended up making one, and I do agree her hair looked a little funny, but I still loved the film.

You know...I've always preferred comics with a group of superheros to just a single one. I mean Superman bores me to tears...Spiderman was much better when he teams up, Batman was okay, but I wish Robin was treated with more respect. I guess i appreciate when comic-writers actually spread out the skills a bit. One unstoppable person mutant, alien, or human is just sort of dull...like a Mary Sue or Gary Stu in RP for me. I like to see them work as a team.
Guess thats why Fantastic 4 and X-Men appeal to me so much more. Plus I appreciate when they have girls kicking ass. LOL.

^ totally agree never really got excited for a Batman or Superman movie unless it stared someone I love.
The only stand alone characters I like are female ones (Wonder Women) cause they actually show a human side and have weaknesses unlike the oh so superhuman Superman.

The movie is definitely shorter than I expected, it felt to me like it was just a TV show - nothing epic.
The effects, always nice and well done and one more thing - Jessica Alba was too blonde and thin in the movie - is Sue like that in the comics?

Yeh I agree too blonde, and was it me or did her eyes look weird too? Obviously using blue contacts, but I duno they looked really strange in this film, they kinda freaked me out, I found it uncomfortable to look at her after a while lol!
This film in no way competed with the first for me, it was pretty dull...I am afraid to say, it had some funny bits, but the ending seemed bit of a let down to me, it was just like they couldn't think of anything better for the silver surfer to do, to end it all...don't think I'll bother to buy it on DVD :(.
