A fateful night...
An assassin...
A creature of the night...
Two destinies clashing.

A lonely man wandered the streets, searching for redemption, observing all of the shops as he passed. It was a cold night in Venice, and he cursed in a whisper in Italian. Crossing a bridge, he saw something out of the corner of his eye which caused him alarm. A man in a suit stared at him, not moving, from the other side of the bridge. The lonely man turned towards where he was going and moved at a quicker pace, hoping to escape the fate he knew was pursuing him. He went down a narrow alley, swiftly moving his feet without any noise. As he reached the end, the man in the suit appeared.
"Dante." spoke the suited man in a whisper. "We are in need of your... services."
"I told you, I wouldn't anymore." spat Dante, glaring into the suited man's eyes. "Now move, Danny."
"Sorry," sneered Danny, staring coldly into his eyes, "The boss told me not to give you a choice."
"What do I need to do?" snapped Dante, "I will not kill anymore."
"Oh, of course, no killing involved, just a small thievery. Plus, you'll have a partner."
"A partner?" said Dante surprisedly, taken aback by the idea. "Why?"
"She has special abilities unlike your own. She will help you." replied Dante.
"What is her name?"
Danny smiled at him, a scary idea in Dante's mind which was now a reality, and then he spoke quietly, "Ahkaki."

A glass of chardonnay rested upon a small marble table, and as a voice cut the room like a knife, the glass was taken and sipped out of. A fierce, yet strangely beautiful woman, almost like an Amazoness, sat in a chair, absorbing the words just spoken by the man opposite her on the far end of the table. The room was full of smoke, as the other men to her left and right were smoking, without concern for her cares or worries.
"He is on his way." spoke the man firmly, in his rumbling voice. The man had graying hair, a bored look, yet a touch of malice was within his eyes. In short, he was not a good man.
"Who?" replied the woman, almost in a grunt. Her voice had hardened with her personality over the years. In fact, she never really had a personality since her abusive childhood. But she changed her thoughts quickly to those of the upcoming job.
"His name is Dante," spoke the Godfather, smiling grimly at her, "Dante di Ricchezi."
"Why do I need his help?" grunted Ahkaki, in an annoyed yet respectful tone, "I can do this on my own."
"Because he is a special man," said the Godfather, "A very special man. He has abilities you cannot imagine."
"Fine." said Ahkaki, giving up the argument. If he wanted a partner, he'd get a partner.
"Mr. Riccardi," said a man, running up to the Godfather and whispering in his ear.
"Ah, wonderful." said Godfather Riccardi, "He's here."

On a balcony somewhere higher up in the Riccardi Chateau, sat a stunningly beautiful woman with harshly dark features. Her hair was jet black, her eyes were dark brown, and her elegant dress matched her hair. She sat in an expensive armchair of the highest quality, looking over the Venetian canals and city. Below her, she noticed a limo pulling in, and she stood up, peering over the balcony.
She saw the man step out of the car. It was him. The plan was set in motion.
"Perfect." she said, giggling, "Perfect!"
Her laughter became insane, and she could not control herself. She opened the sliding glass door and stepped inside, rolling around on the bed in silent laughter.

Ahkaki and Dante: the Beginning
Ahkaki ??
Status: OPEN
Born thirty years prior to the incident, Ahkaki has been trained as a killer. Coming from a family of assassins and thieves, she has no emotion and no real morals. She has worked for the Italian mafia for previous jobs before, but nothing as grand as what they had planned on that fateful night. She has dark brown hair and blue eyes. She's tall and muscular, around 5'11. She dresses in simple clothing, and her weapons of choice is two daggers. She is age 31.
Her personality is blunt and short. She doesn't like to be annoyed, and she will let anyone know if they are doing so. She is defensive about her past and her present.
Dante di Ricchezi
Status: OPEN
In his early years, he was visited by a mysterious woman who murdered his aunt and bit him, contaminating him and turning him into what he is. A vampire. During the night, his bloodthirst increases and he may drink heavily from humans, or even kill them if the thirst is great enough. He was born and raised in Italy with no real parents, only his aunt, and he grew up in the care of the Riccardi family after his aunt's death. He had grown up learning to kill and blackmail, because of the exploitation of his abilities by the Riccardi family. At one point, he committed an act which would forever change him. He left the Riccardi family at age 17 and begin to wander the streets, looking for another lifestyle. He found work at a bakery which provided him with some money; yet he had no home. He refused to drink blood after the incident and so he has been starving for murder and blood. He is saving it for the one who really deserves it. He is now age 28.
His personality is normally witty and charming, and he is quite a funny man when not distressed or in danger. He is attractive but has an aged look to him.
Bianca ??

The antagonist of the story. Bianca is a young looking woman with strong features. She has jet black hair and generally dressed darkly. Her beauty is captivating but it is tainted with her evil. She has a long history which can't be posted here because it contributes to the story.
She has a seductive attitude most of the time, but she has an ugly attitude when she is angry. Her age is unknown but she appears to be quite young.
Angela Riccardi
Status: OPEN
Angela is one of my favorite characters in this roleplay. She is the Godmother of the Riccardi family. While her husband and all others in the mafia have no morals, she is the only reserved woman. Her outward appearance is mean and condescending, but this changes later in the roleplay. She has long blonde hair, an aged face, yet she still retains her stunning beauty. She met and married Donatello Riccardi many years ago. He courted her for awhile and after they married she began to realize what kind of man he really was. Angela and Donatello have no children, but Donatello's brothers and sisters have many children which helps make up the mafia.
Her personality is superficial and happy, and she will always light up the days of those around her. Deep down, she doesn't care at all about any of them except her husband. Her age is 40. She is an average height of 5'9.

I will be playing Donatello Riccardi as well, because he and Bianca are core to the story.
Well, you probably looked at all of this and said "what!?". Well I don't blame you. The history of this RPG is that it was a simple story started from a roleplay with a friend a few years ago, but it soon became our passion. We would create this wonderful story every night and we would enjoy every second of this. As you get more invested in the story, you begin to enjoy it more, and you begin to realize there is a lot more to it than just a thief and a vampire and a job in Venice.
You will learn entirely about Dante's history and Ahkaki's history, as well as learn about the mysterious Bianca. The story moves fairly quickly. For this RPG, however, I need to provide a very basic story outline. The following things are what needs to happen.

GO TO MUSEUM
RETURN TO MANSION
I don't want to spoil the rest of the story, but that is what needs to happen in the beginning. I will update this post with more story elements as we progress.
For Ahkaki, that was not my character. My friend created her. You are able to create as much as you would like about her. If you have an idea or anything for her, make sure you PM me and tell me.
The great part of this RPG is that there is mystery. There is shocking things that happen. I honestly would go back and read over what had happened because the story developed so well. I'm hoping this will happen here. The story eventually goes full circle.
