Well, I have all the books from the series and I'm uber excited about it coming on to TV. If you have iTunes, they have the pilot for free, which is awesome!!!!!!!! Anyways, yeah..lol, I'm reallllly excited for the show and I think it's going to do amazing. Blake Lively is such an amazing actress and she plays Serena is well and the girl who plays Blair, Leighton Meester is sooo pretty. I've been watching the pilot over and over again! Ah! So excited! I think this is going to be my new favourite show!

I am pretty much just as excited for Gossip Girl! I watched the pilot a few days ago and I loved it. I read the books nonstop in high school, but I still have to catch up. Right now, I love Dan and Serena's chemistry. I can't wait to see more of them. And I love Leighton as Blair! She's so pretty. And I didn't picture her as Blair before, but now she really fits the part. I'm not a fan of Chuck (well, who is really? lol), but the actor is not how I pictured Chuck would be. I wonder when they're gonna have him bring his monkey around, haha.

I'm totally excited for Gossip Girl! I read a couple of the books, and they were good. I think I should read the rest as well. But this is actually a new show that I really want to watch because a lot of my favorites got cancelled last season/year.

I'm looking forward to Gossip Girl. I, too, watched the pilot on iTunes, and I thought it was really well done. Hopefully it'll live up to the hype that it's generated since being listed as one of the shows that the CW was picking up. I mean, it is one of the most anticipated shows on any channel this fall. I'm a little wary of Penn Badgley being in the show, since the CW/the WB has a history of killing shows that he's on, but I have high hopes for this one.

I haven't watched the pilot yet, but I'm sooo looking forward to this show. First of all, just the fact that Josh Schwartz is behind it makes me happy, since no matter how much The OC went downhill for a while, I think he's amazing as long as he doesn't begin ignoring the show like he did with seasons 2-3 of The OC. As long as he's behind things = awesomeness. I read most of the books, and I adore them as well, and most of the casting looks cool. Although, the way they changed Jenny so much does bug me. Oh, and Kristen Bell narrating! It's gonna distract me to hear "Veronica Mars" speaking though, lol.

I finally saw the pilot tonight and I was so excited to hear that they were making Gossip Girl into a series. It was really good and I have a feeling that it's going to be a hit. When I realized that it was Taylor Momsen playing Jenny I was like O_O because I always saw her as the little girl from teh grinch. But this show is so good and now I am in need of a sig for it!

So I watched the pilot last night, and I thought it was awesome. The entire Humphrey family are my fave characters so far, especially Dan, who I think is now my new crush since not only is Penn hot but the character is so cute.

Right now Nate is blah. I don't find the guy hot at all and even in the books, I never understood the appeal of him to Blair and Serena.

And Chuck is so skeevy, but I think he'll have the best one-liners, lol.

So many of you know how far my addictions go and Gossip Girl in becoming one of my fast favs. I really loved Blake back in the Traveling Pants days.... which is fixing to be revived with the second movie in post production (weee!). I'm glad she has found a place where she can shine. Serena is really a great character and I'm in love Dan also. *holds up Dan/Serena shipper poster*

Heh I love and hate Chuck... he kind of reminds me of Sebastian from Cruel Intentions, but not as good. Seeing as Sebastian was much more manipulative when it came to getting girls in bed, where as Chuck just takes what he wants when he wants. But yeah.... I have a feeling that Chuck will be everyone's favorite bad guy.

Nate was blah.... I agree. Very whipped... not only by Blair, but by society as a whole. He seems like the type who tries to hard to live up to everyone's standards. And it's pretty clear people will get annoyed with him fast.

I'm interested to see how far things go with the Serena & Blair rivalry. I've never read the books... so I'm at a disadvantage, but at the same time I can watch the show with out worrying too much about whether they are being true to the books or not. I'll eventually read them though.

No, I love Chuck too. I think he's actually my favorite character. He's definitely a pig, but I just can't help but love him. The fact that he's good looking makes it so much easier though. He is very similar to Sebastian and his one liners kind of remind me of Pacey from DC(but not his personality).

I honestly thought that I would hate this show, but now I'm hooked. I enjoy all of the characters, besides Nate. I agree with most people...he's just a little too boring for my taste.

Gossip Girl is so my new obsession. Actually, I think it's the only new show this season I can say that I really like. :D I love all the characters, except for Nate. I have a weird hatred for Nate. :D And I absolutely love, love, love, love, love Dan. :D He's like the cutest thing ever. :( I just want to grab onto him and never let go. *Giggles*

Ive never read the series...and to be honset, never knew there was such a serie...but I blame it on my whereabouts...which dont even know this show exsists...^_^ I was in NYC a few weeks ago and thats when I stumbled onto an episode, IT hink it was Bad New Blair or something like that....the 4th epi. and I just liked it ^_^ so when I Got home I downloaded the previews episodes, and Im completely hooked.

all the charatcers are so likeable...from Chuck to Dan :) Ed plays Chuck SO well! hehe :) and Penn as Dan is just *love* the girls are amazing too, nothing to add.... but I see a lot of people over here dont like Nate....and..o_O I do...^_^ I dunno what's going to happen since Ive never read the books...but because he's a such a guy that tries to please everywhere I think something is going to happen...so he may not seem interesting right now, but I think something later on will happen with him...

then again, I may be wrong, and my infatuation with Chace is just blinding me ^_^ hahaha ^_^

I gotta say, I'm madly in love with Gossip Girl. Christina and Daphne got me into the books not too long ago (well, I'm on the second, 'cause I was a tad bit distracted by HP and Eclipse over the summer) but, yeah... I LOVE the series. I've been a little obsessed with it lately. I'm a big fan of Dan/Serena and also Erik/Jenny ('cause omgthecuteness. lol) Blair annoys me a bit, but I guess that's just the effect her character is supposed to have (or, well, I would imagine). Nate... is annoying. Well, in certain aspects. I love him, but he needs to stay the hell away from Serena. I don't care if he's with Blair or not, he just needs to back away from Serena *nods*. And Dan... *sigh* How can you not love Dan? First of all, it's Penn, who equals nothing but love. And the character is just so lovable. lol. I also love that KB is the voice of Gossip Girl, can't go wrong there.

But, I have to say, my favorite character is Chuck. I agree with Kat, he is a pig, but that's just part of his charm =P. I don't know why, I just am in love with him. lol. I always fall for the bad boys *rolls eyes*

Also... I freaking haaaaate who they picked for Vanessa. Seriously, come on now. *sigh*

But yeah... Gossip Girl is amazing. I can't wait to see what happens next.

I think I may be the only person who doesn't like this show. I watched an episode and decided i think it's crap. I hated the music that went within the show, none of the characters stood out to me (except Blake Lively's huge mole...) and it just screamed boring teenage drama not worth watching to me. The only good thing that I personally find from this show is Penn (who I knew of long before this show came about, so for that reason alone I do hope the show lasts, because it means he'll stay in the spotlight and not be washed away for another four years again) and Chace (who I didn't know before, but he's pretty hot).

I want to go to California!' Yeah... Nothing there...

I was watching an episode today randomly. Never seen it but I've been hearing it's good so I checked it out. Dunno if I saw the first-first episode it's when Sabrina returns. But it was really good.

Chuck is such a stereotype though. He's trying to sleep with everyone. Over that one.
So was that the "good guy" the one Sabrina was with and Chuck was trying to get with his sister (I suck with names). Stereotype! And that other guy that slept with Sabrina, he's cute ;).

A friend of mine just told me that it was just confirmed that "Gossip Girl" will finish its first season with thirteen episodes as a result of the writer's strike, instead of trying to squeeze in 22 after the strike's over. It already has 13 episodes written, so it makes sense.

Haha I loved the last episode too. I think my favorite part was the very last scene when Chuck and Blair slept together. It was just beautifully shot, edited, and the music was perfect! And Chuck and Blair are my new favorite GG ship along with Dan and Serena!

The show's always a tad hard for me to watch, even though I looove it, because I read all of the books during high school and (shh..don't tell annnyone I know or I will deny it but) I just finished the prequel as well. Everything makes so much more sense after reading that. ANYWAY. It's hard for me to watch because I tend go go through and "that is so out of character" during everything, even when I know I should separate the books from the TV show.

For example. Blair sleeping with Chuck? Makes total sense in the TV show. But in the books, Blair has a movie running in her head about how her first time with Nate will be. She postpones it for 2 and a half years because nothing is ever quite perfect enough for her.

I do hope they have Eleanor get married on the show though. That would mean Blair's Hot Step-Brother would need to come along :D

Oh I loved the other night's episode. As weird as it was, I thought that it was so sweet with Chuck asked Blair if she was sure. And the whole scene was awesome with the special effects and the music. I've always liked those two from the beginning and I hope that they somehow end up together. I just think that Nate and Blair are boring. Though, I don't know who Nate should be with. Serena should be with Dan and Jenny should be with Eric. Nate should be with....Nate.

I never thought I'd actually like this show when I first heard about it, but thought I would give it a go and see what it's like. Now that I have I'm certainly not disappointed, It's not the same watching it on the net as it is on tv, but it's better then nothing. I didn't think I'd like Serena, I thought I'd end up liking Blair, but it's the other way round, I like Serena and not Blair. But after watching the end of the third episode and after Blair read that letter to Serena I'm slowly maybe warming to her, I don't know. I'm also curious as to who this Gossip Girl is, but don't tell me I want to work it out myself. I love Dan he's great, not to mention good looking. Not a fan of Chuck, and Nate's ok. I like Jenny. And I like Eric as well.

Well, I personally hate Allison so Jenny didn't bother me at all. I really want Allison to go to a galaxy far, far away. She really just can't come back and play Mom again. That isn't how it works.

I felt SO bad for Chuck. I didn't even notice until afterwards, but I was grimacing the whole time during Nate's and Blair's little reunion. Blair is being way to....I don't know. But she needs to choose one of them, and that one needs to be Chuck. Nate can go off with Allison and make everyone happy.

And I'm so glad that Kelly Bishop did not end up playing Serena's grandmother, because that lady was a bitch. She drove me crazy. She was a thousand times worse than Emily Gilmore.

You guys...let's be honest. Chuck did try to intentionally mess up everything with Nate and Blaire. Trying to screw over your best friend for a girl is messed up...and worse still he was hiding the fact that they were together from him in the first place. No freaking wonder she couldn't trust him, eh?

Besides, Nate's wink before he and Blaire disappeared into the bedroom was priceless.

Heh... yeah. Now that I've thought about it a bit more though... I think Blair was just looking for an excuse to get back with Nate. Did you see how hopeful she looked when he came to visit her and ask her to the débutante ball? And that was before Chuck did anything at all. I think if Chuck hadn't have done anything at all Blair would've still ditched him for Nate. I hate to say it, because I love Blair, but I saw it coming the moment Nate showed up at her house.

It really annoys me that Nate all of a sudden wants Blair after all that whining about being in love with Serena. I think he's settling for the most part. If Serena wasn't with Dan... he would've asked Serena to the ball instead and they would've been together.

I don't hate Allison, but Jenny was still an annoying brat. I get that Allison left and all that, but Jenny did go and get her mother in Hudson. She wanted her back. So... I find it hard to feel sorry for Jenny in that sense.

Okay, yes. Chuck did try and mess things up for Nate and Blair. But in my opinion, Nate had his chance and he blew it because all he did was pine of Serena. So now he turns to Blair because he knows that she'll go back to him and he has no one else. And Blair is the one who's really concerned about everyone finding out about her and Chuck. Sure, Chuck probably doesn't know how to tell Nate about it and therefore doesn't want it to come out, but Blair was very clear that she didn't want people to know that they were together. So I think that Blair is probably more to blame about the relationship being kept underwraps. And yes, Blair was totally playing Chuck. She was just waiting for Nate to come back to her, so even after all of the sabatoging that Chuck did I'm really not blaming all of it on him. I think all three of them have been scheming.

Meh... I just caught up on most of the Gossip Girl episodes that I missed (except for the one last night... Don't tell me! I'm spoiler free!). I must say, I'm definitely missing out on very interesting stuff! :D

For once, I actually have something to say about the Nate/Blair/Chuck thing. And I don't know all of your opinions but so far, I've heard that basically everyone is rooting for Blair/Chuck. Being me, I somehow always go for the other ship. So, yup! That means, I am now rooting for Nate/Blair? Why? Because Chuck will always be Chuck, and not even Blair can change that. He's an awesome character, but I now believe that Blair and Nate should be together.

Dan/Serena - From what I've watched up to, they're still going on as a strong couple. Yay! :D

With the thing about Jenny, social status has gotten into her head. That's what's making her change. Right now, I think it's obvious that she's changing for the worse, but you knew it was coming. She couldn't stay sweet and innocent forever in the show...

The CW just released an official announcement that Supernatural, One Tree Hill, Smallville, Gossip Girl and America's Next Top Model have been picked up for next season. Yes, we will see all these shows in the fall for the 2008-09 season!

I'm personally excited to see how this turns out! I love OC couples and considering, they're so different, I can't wait to see how this all develops and continues! I'm so damn excited! =D I've already fallen in love with the pictures!

I love this show with a passion. I got into it once it started airing over here in the UK, so I am not completely caught up yet. But I love the friendships in the show, and I really hope Serena/Blair can keep going strong. I also love Dan and Serena, they are just so adorable to watch. I can't wait to see whats to come this series.

I knew all the Eric stuff, well, most of it, because I'd been snooping for spoilers, but...wow! I too was rooting for Jenny/Eric.

I'm looking forward to next week, yet I don't want to see it either cause of some of the things I saw in the teaser for it....gah!

And they so need to show Chuck more. I love him!!! He's so awesome. Especially him and Blair.

I really adore Dan and Serena but I hope they break up because Serena is stretching herself out too thin. Like she came back to New York for her brother and his problems and then she kept ditching Blair a lot. I'm not dissing on her at all because S is awesome but I think having a boyfriend and trying to be there for the people like her brother and best friend, she needs to be with them first and then she can handle a boyfriend but eh, whatever. I just finished watching the last episode, so yeah! :p

Grr...the finale made me mad. It was too unpredictable! I like it when my shows are predictable (at least for me) and then I can end up being happy. Now I'm going to be going crazy all summer waiting for everything to work itself out.
