Three American brothers who have not spoken to each other in a year set off on a train voyage across India with a plan to find themselves and bond with each other -- to become brothers again like they used to be. Their "spiritual quest", however, veers rapidly off-course (due to events involving over-the-counter pain killers, Indian cough syrup, and pepper spray), and they eventually find themselves stranded alone in the middle of the desert with eleven suitcases, a printer, and a laminating machine. At this moment, a new, unplanned journey suddenly begins.

So, I've seen Rushmore and The Royal Tenenbaums by Wes Anderson, but not the other(s) he has done. I'm looking forward to this movie though. I loved Tenenbaums and the fact that Adrien Brody is in this makes me even more excited, I like the premise and after seeing the preview definitely want to view this film. Anyone else's thoughts/opinions/curiosity? :)

I've seen Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums, and The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, and I really want to see Bottle Rocket, but I'm also really looking forward to this movie. Wes Anderson is one of my favorite, if not my favorite, directors. His style is really inspiring, and he's just... well, he's a genius when it comes to directing. Plus, I have this odd celebrity crush on Jason Schwartzman. He's just awkward and adorable.

Wes Anderson isn't my favorite director (Rushmore was funny but I didn't really feel it not like I did with Tenenbaums, that was a home run and I haven't seen Life Aquatic or Bottle Rocket) but I definitely like his style, it's fresh and he has a knack with soundtracks which to me makes movies. Soundtracks to me are rather important. :p Hah, that's how I feel about Adrien Brody. I have this weird crush on him. *shrug* I have many a crushes a la strange. :)

Have you seen the previews for the movie? I saw a short one on TV, but I saw longer ones before that a couple months ago. It looks like Owen Wilson has his face all bandaged up throughout the movie hehehe, that cracks me up. u.u

I'm not usually much of a Wes Anderson fan, but I have to admit, this movie looks freakin' awesome. :D I've seen pretty much all of his movies, and, while I can admit that he does has a distinct style and some real talent, none of his movies have really been up my alley. This one, on the other hand, definitely is. :D I love all the actors in it, too, so I'm really excited to see it, once it comes out by me and hopefully it won't disappoint. :D
