ONE MONTH AND COUNTING!

I know this comes a day later, but I'd like to just thank each and everyone of you who have joined and remained active on Perfect Ending, and made it what it is a month later, with almost 15,000 posts already! We hope that everyone has been enjoying it all so far. I want assure you that we do still have other RPGs in the works, a couple that should be opened in May, but as I've said, the staff is getting a little busy with end of the semester school work, so we're working a little slower than usual.

Right now I also want to announce that a new scheme has been put up in the New York City (http://www.perfect-ending.com/forumdisplay.php?f=6) game. The staff decided we needed a bit of scenery change for the game. We opted for something a little brighter. We hope you all enjoy it!

I have finally added a new feature to the board that I've been trying to do for a few weeks now. If you all go to the Edit Profile (http://www.perfect-ending.com/profile.php?do=editprofile) page in your UserCP's, down at the bottom you will notice three new fields to fill out. With summer approaching, I'm sure some of you will be around more, but this also means some of us will be taking vactions and possibly away from the board for extended period's of time. So, members are now able to change their status to being Away if you will be around for an extended period of time. Simply select the Away option, then fill out the away reason and return date. A new status will show up on your posts when you have filled out these options. And of course, once you have returned, just select the Here option again. Enjoy! :D

Inside this forum you will be able to submit your own graphics tutorials, read and rate other member's tutorials or provide any links you might have to good graphics program tutorials. You can provide tutorial links in the Links (http://perfect-ending.com/showthread.php?t=4054) thread and ask general graphics questions in the Graphics Help (http://perfect-ending.com/showthread.php?t=4055) thread. All member submitted tutorials will be linked in the Tutorial Index (http://perfect-ending.com/showthread.php?t=4052) thread. We hope that this forum will be helpful to you and that any of you skilled with a graphics program will be willing to share your graphics knowledge with the other members of the board.

Just giving you all a brief status update on Mirror, Mirror. It is taking longer than expected, but only because we came up with some very awesome new ideas for it, that are a little time consuming to carry out. Lauren’s laptop is also broken, so she can’t do some of the necessary coding for the game. We are still hard at work on it, though, and is definitely something very new and different and I do not believe I have seen anything like it on any other rpg board, so I really think it will be worth the wait :).

Additionally, we are extending the RPG nominations until Friday. Please, get these in if you have not had the chance to already. Thank you!

Template Changes

Over the last month, we have some spent some timing coming up with new coding for Perfect Ending to give this place a fresh look for the summer and to hopefully make things easier when browsing the forums, including the search now working in the forums. However, due to the amount of schemes that we have here, the staff has decided that over the next month, we will be transferring the schemes one by one to include all of the new coding so that we do not have to close down the board while these changes are being made.

So, with that in mind, we just wanted to update all of you awesome members on what is going on in case you begin to notice these changes in your favorite schemes and in case that you notice one of them is unavailable for use for a day. Some the coding changes will probably be subtle and you might not notice, but some will be, such as a new postbit look and a new UserCP look. The staff hopes that everyone enjoys these new changes and of course, if anyone notices any glitches please let us know in the Footnotes (http://www.perfect-ending.com/forumdisplay.php?f=3). More updates will be posted here when we have them. :D

Banner Notice
The staff has been noticing a lot of banners around the board are over the size limit and/or have not been split. We have this rule in order to cut down the loading time on the board. We ask that everyone please check out the Signature Rules (http://www.perfect-ending.com/showpost.php?p=482&postcount=2) to see if your banner complies. If you are still uncertain if your signature is alright or not, you may ask here (http://www.perfect-ending.com/showthread.php?t=375). Remember, around the main board, banners exceeding 100 pixels in height must be split and no banner (or signature) can be larger than 500x200. If you have difficulties splitting your own banners, you may request for your banner to be split here (http://www.perfect-ending.com/showthread.php?t=375). Banners in the rpgs do not have to be split, but they do need to be within this size limit. Just to give you advanced warning, any banners that exceed the limit will be taken down to be courteous to the people with the slower connections. Thank you everyone!
