Signature Check
Before posting any questions, we urge you to look over the signature guidelines located in The Promptbook (http://www.perfect-ending.com/announcement.php?f=2). If you are still unsure about whether your signature is breaking any of the rules or not, then feel free to post your question in this thread. A staff member will respond as quickly as they can to help. Please remember that this is only for signature questions.

Woot, I am first. :) Is my signature alright? I read the rules about the size and was a bit confused. :D

In terms of overall size you are good, but you'd still need to split the banner since it is over 100 pixels high. (My own is 150 in height also so I split that into two 75 pixel pieces) We have this rule so it cuts down on loading time, a smaller banner will load faster. But if you split it then you are all good :).

Just wondering if mine is ok.

Yours is great, except it needs to be split in half. One image can't be any taller than 100 px so signatures load faster. And I just realized that mine isn't split either, so I will be taking care of that. lol If you need any help splitting it, let a staff member know or post in this thread: Banner Splitting (http://www.perfect-ending.com/showthread.php?t=383).

Yours is great, 90 pixels high, so you don't need to worry about splitting :D

Usually i am pretty sure about my signatures, but right now i am not very sure, so is my signature okay or not okay?

If you take away one line of text you'll be good :). But since it isn't an image, I'm not going to worry too much about it. Just fix it when you change again.

what about now? I resized the picture, i know you said to get rid of one line of text...but if i make the pic smaller is that one line of text too much still?

I realize the purpose of this thread is to check that a sig is within the guidelines... but I didn't see a general questin thread (if I've just missed it I apologize profusely) but since it is a sig question I thought this the best shot of where to post it.
I'm having trouble getting my signature to show in the "Ocean's Away forum". Can anyone tell me how to work this magic. I've tried just inserting the link and and putting it within the "img" tags. If I've comitted a stupid mistake put me in the corner with the dunce hat... but any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

We don't actually have general questions thread in this forum because you're welcome to start a thread of your own with your question. :) Annnyway, to get your sig to show up in the OA forum, you must have something in your signature for the main part of the Perfect Ending. But if you do not want anything to actually show up in your sig for the main part, just put this in your signature:
[img*]http://www.perfect-ending.com/clear.gif[*/img] (take out the *)
Hope that helps. :D

And take the image tags out. Just put the link into the relevant section of your profile for the OA sig. If you put IMG taks in, all you see is a red box...

In all the RPG forums and the posts you've made, you'll have to go back and edit those and click the 'Show Signature' box below the message. I did it with this post (http://www.perfect-ending.com/showthread.php?p=46343#post46343), just to make sure, and it worked. So yeah, from now on when you post, the signature should show up. But any other posts you've made before now will have to be edited. :)
