General Rules:
All work must be your own and should not be reused work unless otherwise specified. Otherwise what’s the point?
You may submit only one entry per challenge, but feel free to enter as many challenges as you want.
You must follow the rules for each type of challenge and any unique rules we might specify for a challenge.
Save your picture as a .jpg, .gif, or .png. Call it by the entry number. Make sure you do not put your name on it. This is so the voting remains fair and unbiased.
Send all your entries to The Illustrator (http://www.perfect-ending.com/member.php?u=545) and they will be posted up in the challenge thread.
Blends/Collage:
You must use at least two or more pictures to create a blend or collage.
You may use whatever textures/effects you wish.
You may only use the pictures we provide you with unless we specify otherwise
There is no specific size, but not too large or too small. Use your own discretion.
Colorization:
Take one of the black and white pictures you are provided with and add color to it.
Colorize the pictures as realistically as possible (No green skin etc.) though we will allow non-natural hair colors, etc, if it is appropriate.
You may add textures/effects if you wish, but keep them minimal.
You may resize the pictures for this challenge, but please do not make them too small.
If perchance the challenge uses a picture that was once colored do NOT use the original picture to color yours. If this happens, your entry will be disqualified.
Retouch:
Take one of the pictures and use photoshop or whatever graphic program you have to smooth away/reduce wrinkles, blotchy skin, correct blemishes, fix spots, etc.
Try and keep the image as realistic as possible so don’t go overboard with the smoothing and correcting.
Be sure to include the original image with the retouch.
You may resize the image, but again, do not make it too small.
Icon:
Create an icon that is 100x100.
You may use any textures/effects/etc that you like.
You may use more than one picture if you choose.
Poster:
Create a movie poster using the pictures provided.
You can use however many pictures you wish.
You may use whatever effects you like but remember it needs to look like a movie poster and not a blend (have details such as movie name, actors names, etc).
The poster must be 500x800.
Manipulation:
Follow the rules specified for each individual manipulation challenge.
This could include mixing up different people to create a new person or placing two people together in an image, or some other type.
CD Cover:
Design the front and back covers for a cd. Each side must be 500x400.
Be sure to include the track listing on one of the sides.
Follow any individual specifications for the challenge concerning pictures, etc.
