There is a balance, an uneasy truce, between the legions of good and evil that must be maintained. The fights are small and mostly limited to a soul or two, usually inconsequential, but every now and then, a single soul is all it takes to disrupt the balance between good and evil or worse to bring on a war that could end all of existence.
This is the order of things: The angels dwell in the heavens, but are not the angels that you have read about. They are not all perfect and they are not all peacemakers, but battle hardened warriors for light. Adam and Eve weren’t set out of the garden with a beer and a pat on the back. They were chased out by a flaming sword-wielding angel of vengeance. They have all the morality of the saved, but a lot more violence as well. The demons are not as evil and violent as one would expect. They’re much worse.
The angels and the demons fight for humanity. The pure angels and demons for the most part stay in heaven and hell and the fighting for common souls is left up those that are of mortal blood. The battles are small, common manipulations of humans in their lives leading them to damn themselves to hell or ascend up to heaven. Both sides want as many souls as possible, seeking to tip the balance, despite what the consequences might be. Mostly the battles are fair and there is a truce between the two sides, but truces are sometimes broken and as natural enemies, the occasional fights have occurred, with deaths on both sides, even oblivion. Most of these have only been skirmishes though. It is only when the purebloods come to earth in numbers, that you know there are problems.
That’s where we come in. The mediators, the neutrals, born of both angels and demons because who better to remain impartial than ones with the blood of both? These unions between angels and demons involved no romance; they were purely business transaction. To put it bluntly, they were breeders. Even the angels and the fallen realize the importance of mediators. We work to make sure that there is no cheating, that things run smoothly, that mortals die when they are supposed to die.
This system has worked fairly well through out the history of man, though it’s hardly perfect, there have been wars over the years, but most were settled through mankind, revolutions, World War I & II, and any other number of conflicts. We managed to prevent anything catastrophic. We’ve done our job and if there were problems, it was always because of an overzealous demon or angel, but now something has happened that has set off a chain reaction that could lead to the end of all existence.

The staff let you in on sneak peaks of Celestial Sin for months now, and after a lot of planning and fine tuning, the war begins this week! We are currently finishing up on some final touches to the game, hoping to make it one of our best yet. Celestial Sin has been in planning for a long time between Kat and myself, and now thanks to the rest of the staff here, we are finally ready to release it this week.
This thread is to serve as one last preview and chance for you all to begin planning your characters if you wish. I cannot give away much, but I can tell you that you only be allowed one character in this game. Even staff members will be limited to two characters if they wish. You will be able to decide the type of character you wish to play, either a demon, an angel, a half-demon or half-angel (also known as Hybrids), a neutral (be sure to refer to the paragraphs above to know how most neutrals are made), or mortal. There will be secret forums based on your selection, powers to choose from, and much more.
