I've been wanting to see Juno for such a long time, because I really like Michael Cera and I think Ellen Page is great, so today I went and saw it. I just have to say it was a great way to kick of 2008 when it comes to movies.

There some things that were a little uncomfortable like when she goes into have an abortion, and then when she and Mark (The adoptive husband) have this weird tension between them. but other than that It was very entertaining.

If you haven't heard of this movie this is kind of what it's about: A sixteen year old Juno (Ellen Page) gets pregnant after having sex with Paulie (Michael Cera) and she kind of has to deal with what to do with the baby and then decides to give it up for adoption to this really nice couple who have been wanting to have a baby since they married, but couldn't have one. Meanwhile she's struggling with the feelings she has for the father of the baby, while trying to determine if it's even possible for two people to stay in love, because everyone around her seems to be out of love.

I think it's a really good movie and people should go and see it. The only major problem I had was Juno's best friend said dude a lot and it kind of became very annoying.

I love how smartly written the script was and how Ellen Page pulled it off to a tee. And then the whole scene about the abortion and the nails was quite funny. I mean, I didn't find the abortion scene at all uncomfortable but I guess some people would. *shrug* Anyways, yeah, she is super hilarious and Jason Bateman was quite something. I was surprised at how endearing Jennifer Garner can be and she was just perfect in her performance.

Yeah I am not like the biggest fan of Jennifer Garner, but I actually liked her in this film. I felt bad for her actually. I thought the adoptive couple was kind of nice, because I know so many people like them, and at first you think wow Vanessa is so controlling but then you realize how immature Mark is and you realize how she kind of has to be controlling.

The scene with Juno and Vanessa at the mall, I was like I really hope the baby kicks, I don't know I just was going to be sad if they wrote it out that the baby didn't kick.

I love that Juno still gives the baby to Vanessa because she knows how much Vanessa wants to be a mom.

The ending was probably my favourite though, especially when Paulie is holding Juno and she's crying.

I didn't think the nail thing was uncomfortable I found it to be a little entertaining because her step mom works at a nail salon and stuff.
